Sustainable viticultural practices, together with Margaret River’s exceptional and unique terroir, deliver high-quality fruit year after year. Our team utilise this incredible fruit to craft award-winning wines across a number of ranges, in an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
Grand Selection
Only produced in exceptional vintages, the Grand Selection wines individually highlight the two prime Cabernet Sauvignon growing subregions of Margaret River – Wilyabrup and Yallingup. As the ultimate expression of winemaking, these single vineyard wines represent, at most, the five very best barrels of Cabernet at Deep Woods Estate in any given year.
Reserve
Produced in extremely limited quantities, the Reserve wines are recognised as some of the finest in Australia. The Deep Woods Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Australia’s most awarded Cabernets, winning the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy in 2016. The Reserve Chardonnay has also been recognised as Australia's Best Chardonnay (James Suckling 2023).
Single Vineyard
Each year, our winemakers identify exceptional sites with a unique ‘x-factor’ that differentiates them from other vineyards within the region. These tiny sites are used to showcase the unique terroir of Margaret River through our Single Vineyard range. Produced in tiny quantities, these pristine wines display both substance and style and are the ultimate expression of Margaret River.
Estate
These multi-award-winning wines display individual varietal character, representing incredible value from the Margaret River region.
The range receives much praise, with prominent Western Australian journalist Ray Jordan noting: “Quite simply, you don’t expect to get this level of sophistication at this price point.”
Hillside
The Hillside wines are made from low-yielding fruit grown on the steepest slopes on the estate and showcase Deep Woods’ dedication to site selection and pure varietal expression.
The wines are both ripe, yet delicate and limited production maintains the high level of quality that has yielded numerous accolades across the range.
Margaret River
The Margaret River range has consistently been recognised as delivering some of the best value wines in the region and across Australia.
The Ebony, Ivory and Harmony wines are joyful, easy-drinking styles of Margaret Rivers most popular varieties and can be enjoyed on any occasion.
